This is how we start: We first catalogue the French you know without knowing. Then we learn sounds & the alphabet

  • In your learning journey, you have started learning by yourself or on an app, you remember distant lessons from your school days, you saw a francophone film or heard songs in French, and you want to know more.

This is how we start: I ask you basic questions: Comment allez-vous ? Qui êtes-vous ? Où habitez-vous ? Quand commencez-vous le travail ? Qu’est-ce que vous aimez faire ?

  • In your learning journey, you may have had a first certificate acknowledging your learning of French and want to continue learning, and joy… communicating your first sentences to a francophone.

This is how we start: I ask you to name 10 words of vocabulary categories & to talk to me about recent past activities and activities you are planning soon. Pompier, Pamplemousse, Pourpre. Paon. Pampelune…

  • In your learning journey, you can clearly communicate in a francophone settings and really want to become more fluent.

This is how we start:  Can you use modals in French : Pouvez-vous me dire qui a gagné le match ?… Pourriez-vous me dire où se trouvent les Açores ?…. Devez-vous attendre longtemps avant de prendre l’avion ?…. Devriez-vous écrire en majuscules….?

  • In your learning journey, you are enjoying conversing with francophones, and now you want to feel more like a native.

This is how we start: How is your command of the subjunctive? Let’s build more complex structures and check how you like connectors. Je sais que vous pouvez y arriver sans beaucoup d’aide. Il se peut que nous ayons à réviser plusieurs sujets.

  • In your learning journey, you may have started living in a francophone country and French feels like a second skin. You just want to develop that extra self confidence by using expressions and colloquialisms.

This is how we start: Time to put pen to paper or expand on your argumentation skills. We are going to enjoy writing essays and explore more precise vocabulary and expressions. La liberté vaut-elle la peine d’abandonner tous ses principes ?

  • In your learning journey, you are now near to native or bilingual, but may have become rusty after not having spoken French for a while. Now is your chance to enliven your lost lore and spark things up!

This is how we start: Do you know French street talk? Day-to-Day expressions or regional accents or Language register? Je vous écoute ! Oh, chais pas… Dites-donc vous, depuis quand bâclez-vous votre expression ? Ne remettons plus aux calendes grecques messieurs dames ! Employons-nous à peaufiner notre style.
